About me:
I’m a born in Winter (Irish) Buffalo gal who wandered to L.A. and then – somehow – ended up in East Tennessee – truly down on Crazy River! Like a flamingo in a pond full of mallards I still get, after 25+ years, “Yer not from around here ar ya?”…….no….no…. I’m not 🙂 But, its okay – I don’t have to bleed (hideous) orange, give a hoot about Vol football and think wearing khakis is the height of ‘casual’ dressing to be a good citizen of ET….I can just be me, right?

Crazy River Design: I started making jewelry as a stress-relieving, tactile antidote to working 80 hours a week as high-stakes business litigation paralegal in Boston. Playing with beads became my basket-weaving, happy place. People wanted to buy what they saw me wearing and wanted me to custom make gifts and ‘occasion’ jewelry: Bridesmaid gifts, Mother’s Day, Anniversary; Valentine’s day, Birthday’s, Christmas, etc. I became hooked on creating special, unique pieces that have a singular meaning for the wearers.
